Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Metric collects, why, how long we keep it and what choices you have. It covers the Metric bot and this website.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what the features you or your server use need. Discord provides most of it automatically as IDs.

| Logs | When message logging is on, a temporary copy of messages: text, attachment links, author ID and name. Events such as edits, deletes, joins, leaves, roles, channels, voice activity, invites, reactions and bans are posted to the log channels the administrators chose. |
| LinkRaid | Message text is scanned for links and Discord invites. LinkRaid does not store the messages. |
| Moderation | Warnings: user ID, moderator ID, reason and time. Command settings per server. |
| Tickets | Ticket details, plus the messages in the ticket (text, attachment links, author ID, name and avatar link), staff handling, priority, ratings and points. |
| Applications | Your answers to an application form and the state of your application. |
| Levels | XP, level, text and voice XP, short activity records for leaderboards, and reward role records, per server and globally. |
| Economy | Balance, transaction history (sender, receiver, amount, time), daily reward time, Metric Plus status and dates, badges, card language and custom card image. |
| AI chat | The message you send to the AI (up to about 200 characters) is sent to the AI provider to get a reply. Metric stores only the server’s AI settings, not the conversation. |
| Islamic system | Server post settings, user points and rank roles. |
| Server identity | The bot’s nickname, avatar, banner and bio that a server administrator sets for that server. |
We do not ask for your password, email address or precise location.
2. How we use it
- To run the features you or your server turned on.
- To keep the bot safe, stop abuse and fix bugs.
- To show leaderboards, rank cards, balances and logs inside Discord.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who can see it
- Server administrators and staff can see logs, tickets, applications and warnings in their own server.
- Other members can see public results such as ranks, leaderboards and balances shown by commands.
- Discord processes everything you do on its platform under its own Privacy Policy.
- DeepSeek receives the text you send to the AI chat feature, under its own policy.
- Our hosting and database providers store data for us to run the bot.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it

| Everything else | While the feature is in use, or until you or your server ask us to delete it. |
Messages already posted in a Discord log channel stay there until that server’s staff delete them.
5. Security
We limit access to our database and keys. Cached message content can be encrypted at rest when encryption is enabled. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
6. Your choices
- Server administrators can turn features and logging off, exclude channels and roles, or remove Metric from the server.
- You can ask us to delete the data connected to your Discord ID, or to a server you manage.
- To make a request, join our support server. We may ask you to prove you own the account or server.
7. Children
Metric is meant for people who are old enough to use Discord. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the minimum age set by Discord. If you think this happened, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
